A five year old girl died after a boating accident on Lake Newell Saturday evening. A family of five struck a rock and took on water. a rescue conducted by Fish and Wildlife and RCMP located seven of eight people, all treated for hypothermia. The child was found Sunday morning and died in Calgary hospital. all were wearing lifejackets.
