The City of Medicine Hat awarded a 3.7 million bid to MJB Enterprises for the first phase of flood berthing and permanent protection from near the Trans-Canada bridge, though the price is more than double the original estimate for the entire project.
The Harlow berm program faces cost increases with phase one exceeding the initial 1.3 million estimate and total project cost around 15.1 million dollars.
