7000 pennies donated to Medicine Hat Santa Fund
Dale Brigham of Medicine Hat has collected pennies since the 1980s and donated about 32 pounds or 7000 coins to the Medicine Hat News Santa Claus Fund drive to reach one million pennies. Rylan Hoffner also contributed pennies, and the lobby of the News accepts donations during office hours.
