Mr. Mitchell of the Forestry Department visited Medi cine Hat's municipal tree nursery. Seven thousand trees sent by the department were planted at Waterworks Park and cared for by Porter's staff, thriving and healthy. Mitchell praised the effort as a future benefit for the community and noted trees suited to the climate. He also toured Cypress Hills country plantations, reporting strong growth.
