Quebec Sept 16 Canada’s air mail began at 9 55 am when a hydroplane piloted by Grahwain of the Royal Canadian Air Force left Rimouski for Montreal carrying 500 pounds of mail. The plane refueled at Three Rivers then continued to Montreal, inaugurating service from ships to shore.
