Grassfire at Suffield after munitions disposal operation
A grassfire at CFB Suffield started Monday afternoon following an operation to dispose of unexploded ordnance. Maj. Hugh Atwell said the fire began around 2:30 pm near oil and gas infrastructure, and a nearby fire crew could not fully contain it. Charges laid after girl killed in collision with stolen truck
A 25-year-old Medicine Hat man, Cody David Michell, has been charged with dangerous driving causing death after a string of collisions tied to the theft of a pickup truck and trailer.
