The pressed brick and stone building measures about fifty by fifty feet and thirty feet high with a basement for furnaces and a front ground floor vestibule hall. The rear houses storage rooms for harness swords belts carbines and clothing while the upstairs front rooms accommodate the commanding officer and clerk and the rear hosts a large lecture room.
