South Alberta Light Horse names new commanding officer
At a Saturday ceremony outside Medicine Hat courthouses the South Alberta Light Horse named Shawn Thirlwell as commanding officer succeeding Troy Steele. Thirlwell, formerly second in command, will lead the regiment for three years and aims to broaden field operations and allied deployments with other regiments.
