Rev. Father J. A. MacLellan, head of the Edmonton Peace Conference and Edmonton League of Nations Society, was notified he has been commissioned as a chaplain on active service with the Canadian Active Service Force in Nova Scotia. He previously served as chaplain at St. Joseph's College, University of Alberta since 1937.

London report notes the Earl of Cardigan a lieutenant in the Royal Army Service Corps is missing in the latest War Office casualty list. Lord Clifton of Rathmore, Dragoon Guards, is listed as a prisoner. The 37th list covers 585 names with 192 killed or died of wounds 275 wounded one missing 12 prisoners 38 new prisoners nine previously missing now safe and 338 died.
