Polite Robbers Thank Bank After Kobe Heist

The Mainichi reports Japan’s largest bank robbery involved Fukutoku Bank in Kobe. Robbers sent a letter thanking the bank for a bonus and saying they could live on it for life. The Aug 5 transfer of 5.4 million dollars was targeted during an armoured car move. Police and the bank declined to comment on leads.

Second Mount Victoria climber found after harsh search

Banff Park wardens recovered the body of a second climber on Mount Victoria after weather delayed efforts on the east face near Lake Louise. The first body was found in a crevasse late Saturday. both identities remain unreleased.
