Edmonton well yields endless water at Kinistino avenue

AL Brown strikes a near inexhaustible water supply from his Kinistino avenue bore. The mineral soft water will power a large pumping engine and tank to supply the town. He plans concrete baths heated by the pump house and will send water samples to Ottawa for analysis.

Morrey Daughter Wed to Canadian Pacific Engineer

Lizzie Morrey of Medicine Hat wed J W Cain, engineer with Canadian Pacific Railway, at the Church of the Immaculate Conception in Winnipeg. Rev Father Cherrier officiated. Lizzie is the fourth daughter of Mr Thomas Morrey formerly of Cheshire England now based in Medicine Hat.

Premier Emmerson Resigns in New Brunswick Change

Fredericton reports Premier H R Emmerson has resigned. Lieut. Governor McLellan asks L J Tweedle to form a new government with a cabinet including J J Tweedie as Premier, William Puysles as Attorney General, C H Labillois Public Works, L P Jarris Agriculture, A T Dunn Surveyor General, and H A McKeown and G F Hill without portfolio. Annual Meeting of Medicine Hat Liberal Association

The Medicine Hat Liberal Association held its annual meeting in the Reading Room on Monday evening. Dr. J. G. Calder was elected president with W. A. Burton as vice president, and W. Crosskill as secretary treasurer. A strong resolution praised Sir Wilfrid Laurier’s government for reforms and national progress, and urged unity among diverse groups. The meeting adjourned after forwarding the resolution to Laurier. Also noted were church and local civic items and Calgary cattle breeders meeting plans.
