The plan includes an 94 by 32 foot brick or sandstone building with waiting rooms, offices, and restrooms, plus an 18 stall roundhouse with steel and concrete roof, hot air heating, and future extension options.

Maple Creek Labor Day Sports Parade and Train Fare

A train delivered cattle yesterdAy including a car from J H Spencer and one from John Ellis on the north side. The bulk came from ranches south of the hills including John Read Lawrence Sexton Wu Mitchell D D Bine M Zuckerman and others. Beef weighed fairly well and brought 31 1/4 cents per pound live weight.

Town Council to drill gas well deeper to 1000 feet
A special Town Council meeting discussed expanding the gas well project at the west end to 1000 feet or more after a 66 ft pipe casing and a 635 ft gas strike with weak flow and cave-ins below. The Gas Commissioners are to draft a drilling contract with Mr. Grant and tenders for water works pipe will open next Tuesday.
