German Steamer Klinfel Wrecked Off German Coast

A German steamer Klinfel was wrecked in a gale north of Borkum Island. Forty crew members perished with the captain the only survivor, rescued by a trawler after the disaster broke.

Two unidentified fishing schooners were in distress off Chose with their crews rescued per a Wireless message from Canadian radio at Isteran Vancouver Island. Canadian American Oil and Gas plans wet gas plant

The Canadian American Oil and Gas Company advances plans for an extraction plant in the Many Island field. A well at 1515 feet will be cemented to conserve gas, with casing underway from 1050 feet.
