TransAlta to pay 56 million settlement for price inflation
The Alberta Utilities Commission approved TransAlta’s 56 million settlement over alleged deliberate outages to raise electricity prices. The package includes a 52 million administrative penalty and 4.3 million to cover Market Surveillance Administrator costs.
