Fern Park teen steals and drives bus to pick up fares

A 15 year old boy stole a bus from the Central Florida Fairgrounds in Orlando and drove a LYNX route, picking up three passengers and collecting a few dollars before being stopped by deputies in Fern Park. He boasted of his driving skills and had a prior similar arrest.

Fence damaged in hit and run on Rossland Road

A small car traveling east on Rossland Road SE lost control near Ross Glen Drive SE at about 1 30 a.m. Sunday, clipping a fence in the 500 block and causing about 50 feet of damage. The vehicle fled. Estimated damage three thousand dollars. Police seek information.

Vandalism Damages Three Cars at Startech Auto

Storm knocks out power from Maryland to New Brunswick

The Canadian Press reports nearly 200000 homes and businesses lost electricity as a fast moving storm battered the region. Gusts above 800 kilometres per hour were claimed, while two deaths were blamed in the United States. In New York wind gusts reached 112 kmh, a motorcyclist died in Massachusetts, a man went missing after a Lake Winnipesaukee accident, and a kayaker drowned on a river. A Portland Maine crane toppled, but no injuries were reported. About 112000 customers remained without power.
