Seattle police name Michael Stanley suspect in sex assault
Seattle authorities say Michael Stanley, a high risk sex offender who fled Canada, is a suspect in the sexual assault of a 16 year old homeless boy. The boy, armed with a knife, fought Stanley off after an alcohol involvement and threat, while Stanley was arrested for harassment. Stanley had entered the U S earlier this month under monitoring with a peace bond. His Canadian record includes sex offences dating back to 1987.

NaturEner seeks Wild Rose amendments to expand windfarm capacity
NaturEner proposes changes to Wild Rose 1 and 2 projects north of Cypress Hills to use fewer but larger Alstom turbines. The plan would cut turbines from 108 to 63 and raise capacity from 162 MW to 189 MW while reducing impact footprints. Gregory Copeland says ground breaking must occur within 18 months and notes required wildlife surveys and sound readings in line with Alberta Utility Commission rules.
