After 2.5 years as Alberta Health Services president and CEO Chris Eagle resigns with an eight week vacation and return until Oct 20, 2014. Duncan Campbell named acting CEO. Cowell says the transition is not severance and Eagle may pursue a sabbatical and other projects.
