Fentanyl rising in Medicine Hat police findings
At a Medicine Hat Police Commission meeting Staff Sgt. Jason Graham of the organized crime unit said fentanyl seizures have increased over two years prompting a reevaluation of responses. He noted a rapid rise from rare seizures three years ago to frequent cases, with Alberta recorded deaths numbering 120 in 2014 and 145 in the first half of this year.
