James C. MacDonald of Medicine Hat Alberta earned a Doctor of Philosophy as part of 570 fall degrees conferred by the University of Wisconsin in the 1953 summer session. The totals bring UW lifetime degrees to 100 840 with 2 290 degrees given at last June’s commencement and 107 doctorates among the fall higher degrees.
