City weighs changes to dangerous goods bylaw
City hall plans two open houses to gather public input on proposed amendments to the dangerous goods and heavy truck bylaws. CAPE students join Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser
CAPE school in the Flats held a Jump Rope for Heart event to aid the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Grade 4 coordinator Ron Mason noted two weeks of canvassing and urged kids to involve friends and relatives. First grader Morgan Gader spoke of practicing for weeks to help those with heart disease. Betty Stroh, local coordinator, praised CAPE for participating alongside other schools in a Canada-wide effort to promote activity and health.

City launches Hatters E waste recycling drive at dump
