Two Medicine Hat Men Charged With Second-Degree Murder
Two 21-year-olds, Jacob Porfoun and Aaron Anand-Ford, face second-degree murder charges after the weekend death of 24-year-old Dustin Hewer in Crescent Heights Medicine Hat Police say the incident involved people who knew each other not strangers. Hewer died after being injured in a 3 40 a m disturbance on 21st Street NE and was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. Porfoun was taken into custody at the scene and Anand-Ford was arrested after a short manhunt. Police continue collecting evidence and an autopsy was pending in Calgary.
