Canada logs 16 destroyers out of service for boiler cracks

Canadian Armed Forces pull 16 of 20 destroyers from service for inspections after cracks found in boilers of the Ottawa and other St Laurent and Mackenzie class ships. Eight ships sit in Halifax and eight in Esquimalt with only four newer destroyers and three supply ships active. Fraser and Skeena already under refit. No timetable for return.
