Rotating Postal Strike Hits Medicine Hat and Canada Post
Rotating postal workers walked the picket line in Medicine Hat while Canada Post vehicles idled at the Kipling Street post office. Local President Doris Salmaso says the dispute centers on over burdening from longer routes and a push for hourly pay with regular shifts and better safety rules. The walkout affects 90 communities nationwide as parcel volumes grow with online shopping.
