Alberta nets 543 839 from gas licence sales across province

The Alberta government collected 543 839 from crown gas licence auctions. Top bidder Tennessee Gas Transmission Co paid 385 510 for 24 800 acres near Sylvan Lake south of Edmonton. Other bidders included Canadian Export Gas Ltd 43 333 for 18 800 acres near Veteran and Canadian Delhi Oil Ltd 40 001 for 7 169 acres south of Medicine Hat.
