Local merchants plan a week long gala with sales on apparel, household goods, groceries and more. The event coincides with a new 40 hour week for railway workers starting June 1 affecting CP Express operations. Saturday deliveries to homes will be cancelled. depot will stay open with skeleton staff, and staff receive a two day weekly holiday.
