Death in Charity Bin Sparks Accidental Death Probe
Medicine Hat Police and EMS responded to a 3:30 a.m. Monday call about a woman trapped in a Salvation Army charity clothing donation bin in downtown. Insp. Joe West said the 39-year-old was deceased on arrival and the death is being treated as accidental. Police will not disclose her identity. The bin has been decommissioned and charity officials expressed condolences.
