Erle Oxley, 22, son of Mr I Oxley, was killed by bomb wounds in France on May 20th after serving in the air raid hospital area. He had been gassed and later recovered in England before being sent to the 1st Canadian General Hospital where he cared for the garden and vegetables. He was a horticulture and botany student before enlisting and is one of four brothers.
