Local legends join Medicine Hat Sports Wall of Fame
James Tubb reports two new inductees to Medicine Hat's Sports Wall of Fame, Sensei Zarislav Krco and Joseph Fisher, the 33rd and 34th honorees. Krco, 66, a 48 year karate veteran with 8th Dan, spoke of family support and lifelong teaching in Medicine Hat, YMCA, and beyond. Fisher, the first Medicine Hat hockey player to win an NHL Stanley Cup with Detroit in 1943, later coached the Tigers after his 1949 retirement and World War II service.
