Plants used as pet feed lead to fine in Medicine Hat

A 47 year old man pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana claiming the plants were used as feed for rabbits and birds. Police found several marijuana plants at Arthur Ruttan Grant's residence on May 2. He received a 200 dollar fine. Grant lives at 1419 Seventh St S W.

City Limits Watering by Odd Even Days

City Council adopts watering restrictions for unmetered homes starting June 15 through at least Sept 1. Residents of odd house numbers may water on odd days and even-numbered houses on even days, per May 13 Public Works Committee minutes.
