Three of five Edmontonians hurt in a Saturday traffic accident near North Battleford remained in hospital Monday with serious injuries. Julien Wick, 31, spinal injuries, Sandy Mylymok, 19, severe lacerations, Eleanor Falstead, 10, possible excussion and fractured ribs were listed in satisfactory condition. Shirley Martin and Edward Wick were released. The group was en route to Prince Albert when their car left Highway 40.

In Vancouver a 24 year old miner Robert Graham who was hanged for the murder of William Holman donated his corneas to a young blind boy at Vancouver General Hospital.
