In a May 22 1935 exchange Mr Aberhart answered queries from youths after a Social Credit meeting. He denied secession from Canada opposing a wheat standard and toll barriers. He discussed platform publication and plans to handle debt taxes and just prices.
At the 19th international Kiwanis convention in San Antonio Texas Dr William J Carrington president says Kiwanis clubs in North America have done extensive community work with 1847 clubs reporting thousands of welfare activities Major General John F O Ryan will speak on Our American Democracy and Our Future George H Ross and Henry C Heinz will address armament complications Irving Fisher Yale will discuss Stable Money and Recovery and monetary reform including gold as merchandise versus value and banking reforms
