Registry clerk in Vancouver arrested for theft of letters
Vancouver May 21 W J Roist register clerk in the post office was arrested this morning charged with stealing two registered letters containing six dollars and fifty cents. He pleaded guilty and will be sentenced tomorrow. Roist had been under observation for two months and the decoy letters passed through his hands. At arrest he had 177 dollars and officials believe he took hundreds more.
