Alberta to reopen most schools after May long weekend
Alberta education minister Adriana LaGrange says kindergarten to grade 12 students except in Wood Buffalo can return to in person classes after the May long weekend. Wood Buffalo students will learn from home an extra week as COVID-19 cases decline in children and the community. Dr Deena Hinshaw notes hospital counts and ongoing vaccination efforts while stressing safe in person learning remains important. The Wood Buffalo region will resume classes on May 31.

Stampede to Stage Canada Day Fireworks in Medicine Hat
