New Pasture Near Suffield Station Opens Guided By Grazing Need
The eastern boundary of the Suffield Experimental Station shifts westward to permit grazing on 150000 acres of its 750000 acre tract. Aiming to ease drought effects, the area along the South Saskatchewan River is fenced to the old Buffalo Trail line, with the new boundary shown by a dotted line on maps. The pasture, largely ungrazed and unburnt for years, has excellent feed reserves.
