Warrant issued for Arthur Aronson in Toronto bank holdup

Police charged Arthur Aronson with armed robbery after a bank holdup at the Dundas and McCaul branch left a clerk dead. Lloyd Simpson, 32, was charged hours later. he was found with a back wound in a west-end rooming house. Two women, Mary Caverley and Eunice Aronson, were held as material witnesses.

Miners Escape After Flood At McGregor Mine

In New Glasgow Nova Scotia a pool of water in surface workings drained into the McGregor mine main shaft.
