Five Drowned When Auto Plunges Into Calumet River
Chicago report states five people three men and two women lost their lives when their car crossed into the Calumet River at the 92nd Street Bridge. Only one body recovered at dawn. a woman jumped into the water and was later found. The vehicle traveled about 30 miles per hour and the bridge was swung open to let a boat pass. A.M. initials were found on a bracelet on the female victim identified as about 24. Police had not learned all the names yet.
