RCMP Take Lead as Civilian Search for Doctor Snider Expands

In Fairview Alberta the RCMP will coordinate civilian searchers for missing doctor Doug Snider who disappeared May 4 near the town. About 50 ground searchers and seven dog teams scoured farmland, with a helicopter to cover river areas. An 800 strong memorial service was held for Snider, who practised in the town of 3400 for over 30 years and disappeared on the eve of his 60th birthday.
