Prentice and McIver Launch Alberta PC Nomination Campaigns
The Canadian Press reports Alberta PC candidates Jim Prentice and Ric McIver filed nomination papers with $20,000 deposits and 500 signatures plus 100 names from five regions. Edmonton forum on June 2 to introduce confirmed candidates. Lukaszuk may join. Prentice leads among Tory lawmakers with 17 endorsements. McIver pledges a populist bid to curb spending scandals.
