Last Lancaster Bomber Flown for Disposal from Comox

The last Lancater bomber in the RCAF Maritime Air Command has flown from Comox, B C to Calgary for disposal. Ottawa will decide if RX 219 is scrapped or reused in search and rescue or other duties. The plane was known as the last of the Lanes though others remained in service.
