Alderson May 15 Mrs J Saddle wife of the CPR section foreman here met with a bad accident yesterday afternoon when in cutting a piece of meat the knife slipped nearly severing her right hand at the wrist. The meat was suspended from the ceiling and the fastening broke causing the knife to slip with serious results. She was alone but neighbors saw her in distress. She was driven to Medicine Hat by car in about an hour and twenty five minutes. Dr Gershaw attended to her injury and she was able to return home progressing favorably today.
