London May 15 Amy Johnson Mollison broke three distance records as she landed at Croydon. She flew Capetown to London in four days 16 hours 17 minutes to beat the two continent hop by one day 14 hours 48 minutes. The round trip London to Capetown and back took 11 days total elapsed time and seven days 22 hours 46 minutes actual flying. The southward leg Gravesend to Capetown May 4 to May 7 covered three days six hours 20 minutes.
