Man jailed for death of five month old son
David Robert Legare 29 received a three year term after pleading guilty to criminal negligence causing death for throwing his five month old son Jason onto a bed on Sept 22 1984. The infant died Sept 28 at Alberta Children’s Hospital from cerebral hemorrhaging. The judge called the case a human tragedy and stressed that anger and frustration do not excuse harm to a child.
