Sarah Hill at a small business conference in Albany asked Gov Mario Cuomo a pointed question and used an old public speaking line to stay calm. The room laughed as Cuomo appeared stunned and later joked with her that she made him feel young again.
The government plans to appeal a Federal Court of Appeal decision striking down part of the income tax law on child support payments. The ruling may force refunds or shift tax windfalls to divorced women and their ex husbands, with lawyers fearing billions in tax refunds.
