William Jamieson Jardine a popular brakesman was instantly killed Monday evening in front of the CPR ice-house. He stepped between coaches to couple cars when crushed between a plate and another car. An inquest found death accidental with no blame. Remains held for cable instructions from Scotland.

Two Parker brothers die within days of each other. Thomas James Parker dies in London England on April 24 after a hospital operation.
