Denis Lortie pleaded guilty to the second degree murders of three government workers after spraying the provincial legislature with submachine gun fire. The system displays maps from U S military satellites and plots the best route in seconds. By the 1990s receivers may cost 500 and fit in a car roof or wrist watch.
