Bank Robber Explosion Ends Kenora Bank Siege
A lone robber held a bank manager and detonated a home made bomb after a brief stand. The blast killed the bandit, wounded a police constable, and littered Main Street with debris and banknotes. Six killed at crossing near Fenn Alberta
A car train collision on an uncontrolled crossing near Fenn Alberta killed six youths traveling to a party. The driver Gregory Ballinger 19 of Ending Alberta and five passengers all died instantly.
