Plane crash kills Andrew Currie near Venice California
Andrew Currie formerly of this city and a brother of Dan Currie died instantly in an airplane crash at Venice California along with a passenger after engine trouble caused the craft to plunge from 600 feet. Currie had served as assistant to Otto Meyertofer the aerial policeman of Venice. He survived the initial impact long enough to recount the event. His companion reportedly died during the frantic struggle with the engine.

Germans Protest Supplies Sent Via Danzig
Berlin reports Mathias Erzberger of the German armistice commission handed a note to the allied commission at Spa protesting transport to Poland by way of Danzig. The American Foodstuffs Commission sent medical supplies sew Er machines rubber tires and other materials to the Polish army. The note claims this is not permissible under agreements and warns Germany will stop further war materiel dispatch.
