Aurora Cannabis to fund part of utility upgrades for new facility
Aurora Cannabis will cover a portion of initial electrical system upgrades for its 1.2 million square foot grow processing facility in Box Springs Business Park. City proceeds to borrow 7.5 million with 1.2 million from third party source to fund start up. The company will buy up to 42 megawatts and pay ongoing usage fees to retire the substation over 20 years.
