Aldo Moro's body found in Rome after kidnapping
The bloodstained body of former Italian prime minister Aldo Moro was found in a parked car in central Rome, 55 days after his kidnapping by the Red Brigades. Five spent cartridges were found. Moro had wounds, and the assailants had demanded the release of jailed terrorists. The death ends a crisis that stunned Italy and drew international attention.

Unemployment improves in April but adjusted rate remains high

Three Die In National Airlines Crash At Escambia Bay
In Pensacola Florida a National Airlines jet crashed into Escambia Bay killing three people and leaving three others unaccounted for. The aircraft carrying 53 passengers and seven crew members settled in mud ten feet under the bay. Divers reported all aboard were out though fog hampered rescues.
