Local plane catches a thermal in Medicine Hat trial flight

Joe Vesso of 210 Marshal Ave and Jerry Fisher flew Wakefield model planes in early morning trials. Vesso’s 44 inch wing Wakefield with 70 feet elastic and 800 winds caught a rising air current for a 70 second flight, returning after two minutes to land a mile from the start. Fisher’s flight reached about two minutes. A Model Airplane Meet is scheduled for the 24th with forms available at Marshall's Book Store.
